I can’t imagine a life without art and design; it has held me tightly since childhood. With the pressures of growing up, I had to ask myself, “Is something wrong with me?” I realized that wasn’t case. My motivation and reason for designing was that I loved storytelling and the ability to make someone happy. I love characters, world building, and plots—but all done in a stylish way. I love when I upload art and people tell me that I made their day. Consuming art made me happy, but I never thought my own creations would affect others positively too. I’m Gjo (Grace Jo), designer and illustrator; let’s tell interesting stories together and make people’s days brighter!
